Totally agree. The show has been rejuvenated with Alan Carr and Justin Lee Collins. It was rubbish with Jimmy Carr and his two insignificant and, most importantly, completely unfunny sidekicks. Jimmy Carr isn't the real deal, is a deadpan one-trick pony and won't last long. If he had been a success with The Friday Night Project, they would have kept him and his deadbeats. They gave him another vehicle, Eight out of Ten Cats, and even that's dying on its arse.
shareI didn't like it when Jimmy Carr presented it at all. I used to watch it for the bands mainly. I think most of you are right about JLC and Alan Carr making it their own and much better. They are obviously really good mates and not just for the cameras, you can tell by alot of the body language and plus they are getting well known for their individual performances such as Alan's news guy and JLC's Nikki impression!
