It's Jim's fault

The show got cancelled because of him. He just didn't click with the audience. Alot of people coulsn't stand him, and I'm one of them. I stopped watching it last month. I hate everything about him, including his voice. He's just an ugly site. I think Martha made a smart move by letting him go, but that didn't help any. I seriously believe he's the reason the show is cancelled.

It's not just Jim - I would say more than half of the candidates didn't click with the audience. In fact, there were probably only about four or five people that I even remotely cared about. It was a weak selection due to the producers of the show and it killed it.

reply

I agree with you 100 percent plus as one of the other candidates commented, "Jim is very immature." That is very true.

reply

To me, the show lost credibility by having Jim on it. It's obvious that the producers cast him on the show for comic relief.
And I agree with what one of the other posters said -- that more than half the cast didn't click well with the audience. The cast was pretty awful.

I liked the cast.

I think that the cast was fine and that Jim actually made it more interesting. He's easy on the eyes too ;) People don't seem to have a liking for Martha, and perhaps that's the main reason why it got such low ratings.

reply

Honestly, I truly believe that Jim was the reason most people watched.

reply

I think people like Martha and want her to do well but I think that people were confused about there being 2 Apprentice shows this season. It would have done better if it were shown late last summer and through October and then Trump's could have started afterwards.

I liked the cast - there are always bad eggs but that makes for good TV, and I liked this version of the Apprentice more then The Donalds last few crews of idiots.

However, putting it on against Lost? Even the reruns get big ratings! They should have known this show wouldn't get the viewers it deserved.

If you seriously believe he's the reason the show is cancelled, you have no business acumen. Many many many people who were watching this show were doing so because of Jim: he's the only contestant who brought in ratings. It removed credibility to the show, I agree, but many people who don't really care about business (people who just care about being entertained) tuned in just because of him.

reply

Nope… folks watched the show because they wanted to know what Jim would do next and if he would do something that would make Martha fire him.

How outragous can Jim get? Tune in next week and find out. Screw The Network – Give Jim his own show for a season on CNBC.

You actually think NBC cancels a show over one contestant? LOL

that's funny

I think they made a big mistake putting Martha and Donald next to each other (I mean one night following the other) cause the two shows were so much alike I got confused which contestants were on which night.

Of course I guess there weren't that many people watching Martha's version anyway....

I read somewhere that they had to pull contestants out of line for Donald's show and put them into Martha's cause not enough people showed up for the auditions. Most people weren't sure what kind of things Martha would make them do.

I definitely get the feeling that's where Howie came from. He seemed very self-conscious and out of place thru out this series (might be why he drank so much).

LOL, everone looked out of place on Martha's show, like they were rounded up at the local Pony Keg while buying cigarettes and Riunite.
