Unsimulated sex?

Do the porn characters really have sex? Is it a real d!ck in the girl's mouth at the end? Is it real sperm we see on the porn actress face or on the wall?

Oh please, stop mocking me! It might seem obvious to you that sex is only simulated in mainstream movies but it isn't always the case.

I didn't mean to be mean. I just don't care very much about the answer in those cases where sex isn't actually seen. Thanks for the list, it's interesting, I see I'm still missing a few titles :-)

"This POS will never get worldwide distribution but the elitist crowd will continue to declare it a masterpiece...ya gotta love it!"

Yes, how dare someone have an opinion at variance with your own? The nerve.

Good one. I agree with you that the simulated or unsimulation of the sex isn't relevant. To answer the question, though, it clearly is simulated, at least most of the times. In several scenes, there are angels where the actor is clearly not "up" to the task, as it were.

I quite agree with you. Actually I was believing all those things were fake even before I posted those questions but I was kind of curious to see what people would say about this.

But my conclusion is completely different: just a great film IMO! I loved it.

Well if you can read French you should be able to find my whole review there: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/abusdecine/pour-contre/la-saveur-de-la-pasteque.htm

If you can't, here's a little summary: I think it was an extraordinary success because the film managed to criticize the dangers of pornography and still was an apology of desire (normal life desire I mean). It really shows how some perversion things can ruin life: the 2 characters might be real lovers but the guy doesn't manage to confess what he's doing for living. He's clearly ashamed of his job and doesn't want to lose his new girlfriend. Many reviews were speaking about gratuitous sequences and a shocking end but to me that kind of analysis is actually a lack of analysis! Of course it seems gratuitous and shocking if you just focus on the surface. But if you see things more deeply the movie is a kind of dark poem and a call for pure love. And it also questions our own taboos and our own fantasies. Moreover there's some fine and discreet sense of humour. To me it was part of the best films I've seen last year.
