They made it: proud of a movie from Spain
This is not another message to discuss wether Spanish movie industry is at stake or not. After seeing "Salvador" I've felt proud of Spanish industry, I've felt proud of Catalan industry, and I've had the security we can do great movies and tell great stories in the right way.
Being from Barcelona myself I am really proud of the movie itself, because it is realistic. I do not wish to start a political debate, since it will be unnecessary, and this is just not the place. But this story is universal, and the way they explain this universal story is just the right way. I would like to congratulate all the cast and staff in "Salvador" for such a masterpiece: ho heu aconseguit!
In addition to that, I would also like to say this movie is necessary. Spain tends to forget too often where does it come from. These things happened 30 years ago, and we don't talk about it. Is that good or bad? I don't know, but I am really happy because somebody did through a movie.
The air is humming, and something great is coming...
