When is this movie being released world wide?

It's been released on some European countries, but most likely it will go direct to DVD in the US. I just watched the Spanish DVD, the film just isn't that good. With a relentlessly leftist slant, it proceeds to unsuccessfully explain and justify why someone who comes across as a restless middle class kid having fun playing Robin Hood with some of his buddies by robbing banks and entertaining revolutionary ideas that they don't seem to fully understand (they giggle while committing these crimes!) should be an iconic political figure in Spain. After an unconvincing first half of the film that failed to make me care about any of these individuals, the second half turns into an endless, heavy handed melodrama, covering several appeals to commute his supposedly unjust death sentence after killing a cop during a reckless shootout. Passing itself off as an important political statement, this well-intentioned but terribly misguided film is a tough pill to swallow.
