A surrealistic masterpiece...
i have seen it 3 times in one day and the more i see it, the more questions i have... that's how a movie has to be...

I completely agree. This is one of the most remarkable films I've seen in a long long time. So many great interpretations, excellent symbolism and surrealism. My mind has been picking at it for days now.

It's funny, though I'm not Russian, I lived in urban South America and still have relatives there and even though tthe culture is very different, the lifestyle is not so far off. I found the film pretty raw and realistic as well. I guess it's an America/Western European thing to try to find a hidden meaning to this otherwise realistic film.
