4.1?

It's a good show why such a low rating?

I'm wondering the same thing. This rating is absurd.

I rated it what it deserves, 10/10.

I agree with you. I was surprised. I love this show. It's way better than all the other tv court shows. i think people just rated it badly based on the category of the show..that it's reality tv.

I love the Internet.

I think that a big part of his low ratings is that there is only one case on each 30 minute show. The facts needed to decide the matter don't take that long to get out so he has to fill time by getting the litigants to discuss personal matters that aren't relevant and quickly cause the viewer to lose interest. Also, the shouting matches fill time but get old very fast. Most of the judge shows that have 2 cases for every 30 minute show do fairly well.

I completely disagree with you on your reasoning but thanks for your input and response.

I am watching Judge Alex right now and I believe that this case proves my point. A women is suing her ex-husband for bills of his that she paid off before they got married. The woman is a control freak who took charge of all their finances and kept careful records and made a "payment grid" each time she gave him cash. Both litigants were very respectful and there were no fireworks at all. They only discussed the money and her dominating personality. All of a sudden, Alex says, "So, with all the record keeping and payment grids, did you two have time for sex?" It was a stupid and inappropriate question that had no place in the case and was obviously designed to get some fireworks started. Both litigants had too much class to take the bait and the plaintiff quickly changed the subject back to the money at issue. All in all, this was a pretty dull case that should have only taken half the show to finish and Alex's irrelevant question about their sex life both serve to prove the point I made in my previous post about the low ratings.
