as soon as karan sends rocky 2 track down the girl he was in love with....i realised it was "something about mary".
indian filmakers always copy movies scene for scene. i mean, for god's sake.... just get the general story....and maybe remake it...but copying every scene is SOOO NOTTT necessary.
eg. the dog scene
sunil shetty on crutches
the ex-boyfriend who's been broken up by sunil shetty
the final "keys" scene
it's damn pathetic to be honest. the only thing that makes this movie worth watching is the 'hera peri' combination of akshay, shetty, and paresh rawal. akshay is funny is hell. now if they had all these comedy sequences in an original story...THAT would have been something.
speaking of the ong-bak fight scene....god!!! did they have to copy Tony Jaa's muay thai stances too!??!!! grrrrr
the last showdown with the bad guys (although some of the motorbike stunts were good) was so silly. why the hell did the bad guys have all these men ready with those dune-buggies? they were recent arrivals in dubai anyway... where did those extra men come from. the location or way the final fight unfolded made no sense at all. i just sat there thinking "why are all the motorbikes/buggies just running around randomly?"
PS: if a girl is on the run from villains ...and is in hiding 4 fear of losing her life...she doesn't try to become a famous singer/model who's posters will be displayed everywhere.
