Will there ever be a slimpack on this series?

I would love to buy all the dvd´s, but the price would be rather much for me. Does anyone have any scoop if they are planning for a slimpack?

I have no idea (so I'm not answering your question, sorry), but I really wish there were a box set too. Currently it IS rather expensive...

ADV has a trend on releasing slim packs... most ones tend to be released about 1 year after the last volume was released.. Not a definite but hope that helps

The dvds are currently only about 9 dollars each on the ADV site--their sales are really great so they become 9 dollars almost any time there's a holiday (like now the holiday is Golden Week in Japan). This still doesn't help the price immensely, but it does help a good bit in my opinion. Only downside: there are holes drilled on the bar code BUT it never touches the dvd and really isn't that noticeable (and I'm VERY obsessive about my anime and dvd covers). Plus you can buy blank dvd cases and change it if it bothers you. I hope this helps--I am trying to save money but because I love this show these sales made me believe that it wouldn't be too bad to collect the dvds...

thinpack means less extras right? i mean like a booklet.
is there a booklet in the regular edition?

Yes, thinpacks made by ADV remove the extras

Most of the extras for Princess Tutu are on-disc. There are no booklets, but there are inserts with staff interviews printed on them.

You can pre-order the thinpak now, it cost me 30$. Rumor has it that the extras were not stripped.
