Is this just for kids?

I just wondered if this show is for kids or for adults as well. Is there some complexity in the themes and emotional content? Judging from the images it seems so cutesy, but yeah... Elfen Lied had it's cute moments as well ;).

Thank you! I've got a better idea of what to expect now.

On a side note; the Grimm fairytales aren't written for just kids. They are a bunch of popular German folktales that deal with all kinds of issues in life. The Grimm brothers collected them and wrote them down.

My 12 year old is watching it with me but I think younger than 10 I'd have to make a different decision. It might be too intense for some children.

I also wouldn't show young children the extras on the discs: some extras are inappropriate, like the actors clowning around and using foul language. They should have axed that for a family friendly presentation.

i was telling my mom about the plot line of the sho and as soon as i said "ballerina" she asked "is it a little kid sho?" i watched a little longer and declared that it wasnt cuz the plot line is a little 2 complicated 4 most little kids 2 understand. its also fairly dark and fakir once said "damn" (or at least as far as iv seen hes only said it once) i didnt care but im pretty sure a little kids sho wouldnt use the word "damn"

Kids are the demographic objective, but I believe it can be enjoyed by adults with free mind.

Also, yes. It is not lacking in complexity.

Anyone with a passing interest in classical music will love this show.

I don't think 'kids' are the targeted demographic. I would also say it's too sophisticated and not appropriate for kids under 10.
