If your kids dig shark films, but you're a little leary about blood and gore, this is a good one! A pg-13 rating and only a few people actually are devoured without the usually heavy graphics of other shark films.

The lab set is wonderfully bright and decorated with fun little sea things, it reminds me of how I'm trying to decorate my sons' bathroom. Actually I really enjoyed the sets of the whole facility.

Language wise it's fine and it was written to be silly, which it is. The acting is fine, I've seen much, much worse.

Exactly. Films have an audience they are intended for. It's ok that this isn't the great American cinema experience.

There are lots of flavors of ice cream, just enjoy the show for what it is.
