Backlash predictions?

So far three matches appear to be on for Backlash. What do you think of them?

Batista vs. HHH

Shawn Michaels & Hulk Hogan vs. Muhammad Hassan & Daivari

Shelton Benjamin vs. Chris Jericho

Personally, I think Batista/HHH will not be as good as it was at Mania, Batista performed better then than he normally does. I imagine he'll win again as it seems with the Orton revenge storyline that Batista will likely still have the WHC when he comes back.

HBK and Hogan will beat the Arab Americans. The match will be horrible if Hogan is in it for more than two seconds, and anyone who thinks this is Hogan's last match is a fool. There will ALWAYS be "one more match!" until he dies.

Shelton/Y2J can and should steal the show. Two of the best, and hopefully this will resurrect the IC title (it hasn't been defended on a PPV in Shelton's reign aside from Maven at NYR - a joke - and Christian at Survivor Series - WAY too long ago). I'd like to see Shelton win it to keep whatever push he's on intact.

Batista(c) vs. Triple H

My pick: Triple H

Shawn Michaels & 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan vs. Muhammad Hassan & Khosrow Daivari

My pick: Hassan & Daivari

Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. Chris Jericho

My pick: close match, but Jericho will win

I've thought about this logically, and these are my picks thus far :)
~Though we mate hate to admit it, there's always two sides to every story~

Batista is not going to lose his first major title defense (nor is Cena, sadly).

New match added tonight: Chris Benoit vs. Edge - last man standing.

I believe Edge will win this match.

I agree, Edge will beat Benoit in what I think will be a great last man standing match. Edge is taking alot of heat for the Matt Hardy/Lita incident, so he can't afford to put on a disappointing match.

Benjamin will beat Jericho in a close match. I don't think there is any need for Jericho to have the IC belt at this point in his career.

Hogan and HBK will definitley win in what promises to be a very entertaining match to say the least.

Batista will most likely beat HHH, in a match probably similar to that from WM 21.

Batista is gonna retain as will Shelton.

I would throw up all night if HHH would win but i really dont have any great expectations on this match as their match at WM21 wasn't even a tenth of what i had hoped for.
And the WWE are not gonna do a Randy Orton on Batista by having him lose the title after a month

Actually it would be cool if Shelton would break the Honkey Tonk Mans record with the IC title(halfway there) but the chances of that are probably super small. Jerico is a great wrestler but there's no reason why he should be an eight time champ seeing how his last "reign" ended pretty quickly.
But its all good that the IC title get into the spotlight seeing how its been absent from the last two Wrestlemanias. Hope this will be the showstealer.

As for the other two matches the Last man standing seems promising but Edge is getting pushed a lot more than Benoit right now and we all know what's in store for the Arad Americans.
Hassan should get pushed but he is sooo not gonna be pinning HBK or Hogan at a ppv anytime soon

batista to win over hhh. like it was said earlier it would be pretty poor if big dave lost his first title defense. rest assured that hhh will get it back soon and hold it again til mania 22. man i hate triple h!! give it up man! you are getting ABSOLUTLY NO HEAT WHATSO EVER from the crowd whenever you wrestle and your gimmick hasn't changed in about 6 years! its not like you are hulk hogan, which brings me to the next match...

WHAT A TAG TEAM! ITS FANTASY MATCH UP TIME! yeah hogan can't wrestle any more but who cares!! it hulk frikkin hogan!! legend. keep him on the roster please make him gm or commish or something - hell smackdown needs all the help it can get!

egde and benoit - edge to win. that boy is on a roll! how long til he is champion? mania 22 against hhh. you watch this space....

y2j to beat benji-boy. y2j is going to be the most under used wrestler in history but damn it he could be the best inter continental champ ever.

New match added tonight: Kane vs. Viscera

This match should be horrible, unless Big Vis somehow loses 400 pounds before Sunday. Kane is an agile big man, but Viscera is an amorphous blob. I really don't even care who wins, since if Vis wins we see more of the disgusting Vis/Trish moments, and if Kane wins we see more of Lita.

All the while I'm wondering where Captain Charisma is on this card.

New match added: Tag Team Turmoil - The Heart Throbs vs. La Resistance vs. The Hurricane & Rosey vs. Simon Dean & Maven vs. William Regal & Tajiri.

This match is clearly just to fill out the card, and make it about two to two-and-a-half hours long. The only challenging team with a chance to win is the Heart Throbs, and there's no way in hell they'll win it. Champs to retain.

Its sad not to see Christian on the card.

I'd much rather see a longer, developed Kane vs Christian match at Backlash that Big Vis taking on the Big Red Machine, which we all know will be a horrible match...can it really be any more than that?

Granted, Christian and Kane don't have the basics of a good feud, but with the proper amount of planning during the past few RAWs, they could have pulled out a decent angle, with Christian going over Kane on PPV, further adding to his push before he (hopefully) moves to Smackdown and dethrones Cena (ok now I'm dreaming)

"Do we really need The Hurricane and Rosey on a PPV"

This comment makes me sick. Why shouldn't we see them on a PPV. They are a great tag team and it's about time they gave the hurricane something to do. He has tonsof talent. And also just because something is there to fill the card doesn't mean the match won't be any good. I'm looking foreward to this match. Lot's of good wrestlers and 'm for Hurricane and rosey all the way.
