It is what it is, but....

You pretty much know what you are getting when you rent a movie like this.

In this movie for instance; let's accept the premise of these two people needing to drive across the country. As they drive they begin to bond and evetually grow to love each other. Plausible, far fetched, but plauisable.

My problem with these romantic comedies is how stupid everyone suddenly becomes as the movie goes on. He been working all this time towards being a lawyer and now he is just going to give it up for her, ridiculous. Tell her you like her and will come back after you take your test. Don't suddenly become an idiot and throw your life away just to help the movie's plot along.

You did hear the boss say "We're opening an L.A. office" in the end, right? Implying that he would be able to work locally and stay with the girl.

I love how people complain that a movie in this genre is not totally realistic. If you want realism watch a documentary or drama based on historical events, or a crime drama such as NCIS/CSI etc., or of course a reality show, there are plenty of those on now a days.

Yep true. Lived up to my expectations. Nothing special or that good but it did the job.
