why the low rate?
I actually saw it and it was really good. Not as good as "Un prophète", but good, nonetheless, a 6-7 IMHO.
Has it been noted by a majority of non-Europeans?
The film is currently rated on IMDb at 6.0 and I think that's about right; I gave it a 6. I didn't like the way the story was told, via Georges Figon with all the back and forths in the narrative and the numerous characters. I guess if someone is familiar with the history and incident it might be less confusing. Also Ben Barka is hardly featured and his disappearance and death is just a departure in the narrative it seems. Plus the way in which Figon is portrayed lacked substance and so as the character to carry the film, it/he failed somewhat.
