of so many other movies and animes , least of them are :

Final Fantasy
Blood+
Vampire Hunter D
Kenshin
Ninja Scroll
Waterworld (No Kidding !)

.
.

EVERY hero or villain in the movie is a rip-off from some character - even the ones that have only one line of dialog in the movie (or one punch before they die)
It's understandable for a movie to be influenced by another movie or anime or whatever but to be influenced by 100 ?
It's like they decided to create THE ULTIMATE fantasy/action/martial arts movie.
Was NOT that much worth watching imo.

This is the filmatisation of the later volumes of the Death Trance Manga.
So saying that it is a ripoff is a bit wrong in my book, since the manga is quite a few years old.

Yeah you should really watch the movie and not read the back cover cause those movies you listed off have nothing in common with Death Trance, You didn't explain how they are the same, you just bashed the movie saying it was. If you are going to do that you should bring up some valid proof. I thought it was a great movie, one of my favourite movies. Also you grammar sucks, you must be American

I would have agreed with you if it wasn't for that American thing at the end. You must be some stuck up European jerk or asian.

I see this in a lot of boards here. People dissing a movie without even having watched it. Or just dissing the actors, in the movie. like "oh this movie was perfect, i just didn't like the actor that was the main character"

Several plots and charcters from the Death Trance manga are based on legends and Japanese folklore. Sure, you can find connections between this film/manga and other mangas/animes; but you have to keep in mind that the creators of these medias may all be drawing from the same source material. Nothing is ever really, truly original anymore.
