No Don 'The Dragon' Wilson?

what the crap!

I agree. Don 'The Dragon' Wilson was the only thing connecting the original films. Believe me, I own all 8 movies and have watched them multiple times (how sad is that!) He plays a different character in every film: In part 3 he's a prisoner, in part 4 he's a repo man, in part 6 he's a security guard, in part 8 he's a CIA agent. Since there are no story line connections between the sequels, having Bloodfist 9 without Don 'The Dragon' Wilson is idiotic. Don Wilsion IS BLOODFIST! If you lookup Bloodfist in the dictionary, it has a picture of Don Wilson! This is like having a Snake Plissken movie without Kurt Russell playing Snake. ITS A SIN!!!

I´ve seen only Part 8 and it was the greatest trash ever. I( loved it. My Friend made many Wallpapers with Photoshop to this Movie. We´re real Fans. An now this! No St.Don "the Dragon" Wilson. Thats horrible. Its like Peanuts without sharlie Brown. I hope that Roger Corman will be the producer.

As a fighter Don the Dragon is great, but as a fight actor he is VERY bad.
I'm glad he isn't involved and Matt Mullins replaced him.

But if you dislike the fact that Don is missing, than you also dislike Dragonfire (with Dominic Labanca) and Full Contact (with Jerry Trimble).

These 2 movies have the exact same storyline (and director) and no Don.

I really wanted to like this film as Matt Mullins is undeniably gifted in the martial arts department but I don't know how they ever finished the production, the number of edits alone that do no tmake sense or clearly show punches and kicks missing are just phenomenal. it's like they aset up a camera told him and the stunt guys to get on with it, didn't check it and then just packed up and went home and then edited it. Highly embarassing stuff I'm afraid. Also as much as I like naked women, they are in every other scene and after a while you start to wonder whether you're watching an action film or a film from another genre... real shame. also most of what is on the DVD cover does not appear in the film, except Matt himself. This was probably fairly obvious to most experienced B-Movie fans but this cover really does take the biscuit, even has spelling mistakes on the back.

Sigh, whatever happened to the days when you could go down to the video shop on a monday and rent 2 or 3 totally awesome action movies like King Of The Kickboxers, Martial Law etc? I walked around my local video shop in Hove and looked at the DVD covers mostly with dismay.
