Did anyone else see subtext between Madhvi and Gayatri? I just got that feeling, but I can't really justify it; she has good reasons to hate Rohit, and the film almost seems homophobic in some ways. Still, it kind of feels like they got too close, too fast for it to be purely platonic.

Madhur Bhandarkar features gay characters in many of his films (and I think he's gay himself; just watch his interviews) so it's not a big stretch. share
