better than bad

it's good.

i thought it was ok anyway. if it were an episode of the show, it'd be one of the better ones, i think. people have higher expectations for the movies though, so it got a lot of negativity.

That's how I felt too. But I do feel that it could have used some re writing script wise though. Some of the dialogue was rather clunky.

It felt more like a two part episode than a movie. It's alright partly due to the chemistry between Mulder and Scully.

It is not the greatest movie I ever saw but no way is it as bad as sad little trolls like clyons wish it were.
Most people are fine with it.

I quite enjoyed 'I Want To Believe'. Outside of loving Gillian Anderson, I thought it interesting weaving the themes of the head transplant, psychic police work and the ethics of stem cell medicine together. And of course seeing the story revived after some years. It sure is nice that The X-Files was revived.

Yeah, throwing 30 million into a "good episode"

There was no show to make more episodes for so CC went ahead and made a movie!
You know 30 million isn't a lot for a movie these days.
He did a pretty good job considering and it's a shame you didn't get what you wanted but a whole lot of us were happy to see Mulder and Scully riding again and looking so fine up there on the big screen. ๎†

People these days are so used to everything exploding in the first 5 seconds that they miss the tension that builds relatively slowly.

Which is just sad considering the sheer volume of tv commercials these days for OTC products that help prolong tension building. ๎…
