Every time I rewatch this film

I love it even more. Absolutely stunning.

I think this is one of the greatest films ever.

I concur. To bad the marketing made it too small for the wide masses. And it's rating is a disgrace, especially the metascore one. How any critic can rate this lower than 8 of 10 is beyond me.

Roger Deakins won an Oscar for No Country', albeit it's stunning but nowhere near the visual marvels of this one. I reckon the bad marketing is to blame for that.

It's near perfect and I would pay a lot of money to see the uncut version that Andrew Dominik says he would be able to finish over night.

Deakins did not win for No Country, in fact, he has never won one.

I agree. There are few films I can make it all the way through, and of the ones I can watch in their entirety and enjoy, few of those do I want to see more than once. This is one of those rare films I have watched several times. The acting and cinematography are outstanding. So many great scenes and dialog.

Few films you can watch all the way through? Does this mean you stop watching most movies like half way? I don't mean this question to offend, just find that interesting as I've never heard anyone say that?!

The narratoration is what I love most. The wording is right out of the late 19th century, and it fits right in with the other authentic parts of the movie.

In that case, I highly recommend the book by Gus Hansen. I have read it twice now

Yup that's me as well. It is kind of movie you can watch over several times and still be amazed. Its such well made movie and one of my favorites.
