Something in the IMDB goofs section that I want to address.

I know this movie isn't perfect & has some inaccuracies but one of the things in the IMDB goofs section is that the Giza Pyramids were constructed around 2500 BC, not 10,000 BC.

Number 1. The structures in the movie are not the Giza Pyramids. The advanced civilization in this film is a fictional ancient civilization inspired by ancient Egypt. This film is a fictional story, not a historical documentary.

Number 2. More scientific evidence is coming out such as the water erosion around the Sphinx enclosure that suggests that some of the ancient Egyptian structures may be thousands of years older than we may have thought. There are also 12,000+ year old structures such as Gobekli Tepe, & Gunung Padang that have been discovered. Which shows that civilization goes back further than we realized.

The quacademic, I mean academic establishment still has a lot left to figure out about our prehistory.
