My question is are Yuri and Alice in Shadow Hearts 3 because I have seen a picture of a girl that looks like Alice and a guy that looks like Yuri. So are they in Shadow Hearts: From The New World?
shareWell, one guy looks like he may be the son of Yuri, and as far as the girl goes...hell, I dunno. but yeah, it looks like this one wont have Yuri, but I'm pretty damn sure he's a family member, if not his son.
shareNot only are Yuri and Alice not in SH3, they aren't even mentioned. The guy that shares a slight resemblence to Yuri is named Killer, and the girl that shares a slight resemblence to Alice is named Lady. I stress the word slight.
shareits unfortunate, but true. I think midway is trying to go the Final Fantasy direction and make shadow hearts a long running series with different characters and stories with each game :-/
I think they'd be better off sticking with Yuri and Alice, even if they can't make as many more games. but thats just me. I'm still going to check it out though. At least Roger Bacon is still it it ^^
Um... MIDWAY doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the creation of Shadow Hearts games. They licensed and brought over the first two games.
MIDWAY gave up on Shadow Hearts after the second one.
XSEED (new gaming company) has licensed the third game and is releasing it on March 7, 2006.
The games are produced by Azure/Nautilus.
No word on a Shadow Hearts IV (yet). Personally, I wouldn't mind though. I could keep playing sequels for this game if they keep the Judgement Ring. Screw Final Fantasy and its tired battle systems.
At first I thought that Lady was Alice but unfortunately she is not. I heard that some characters from the other Shadow Hearts games are going to pop up though. All I know for sure is that Roger Bacon and Joachim Valentine show up.
