I wasn't scared (probably because I've become desensitized), but my mom was at a few parts, but i wouldn't suggest seeing it to be scared. Its a good drama, beautifully done, and a bit of a love story sewn in.

I wasn't that scared, but that's only because I saw the original, called "the Eye" (from Hong Kong), first. If I'd seen this first, I'm sure I'd have been suitably creeped out :-) It did add a few creepy moments that weren't in the original. Still, it was a great remake, due to the strong storytelling and emotional moments remaining intact. Better than the American remake of "the Eye".
