Chloe kidnapped

Does she get kidnapped in any of the books??

reply

yes... in armageddon. thats where she dies. :(

reply

Yeah Chloe gets kidnapped when she venture out on her own from a safe bunker.

She is caught by the Global Community, and held in a cell where she is tortured ( remember these books are for US christians so torture for them is no milkshakes and hamburgers)

The GC after only a few hours dont want her starving to death on them feed her a protein bar.

She is later beheaded

reply

Is she the first one of the Tribulation Force to die ( besides bruce) or does Kirk or Amanda die before her?

reply

Amanda dies before her. I don't remember the book where she dies since it's been years since I have read the books.

reply

Amanda dies inthe "wrath of te Lamb" earthquake, when her plane crases intoahuge rer(the Tiber?) Bucisthe last to die, he i essentialy crused between rocks. Rayfrd lives, and Kenny lives...uh yeah...alot of people die,so dont get attached.

In Armageddon, the 11th book of the original 12, Chole is taken prisoner, however dies about halfway through the book. She's beheaded for her beliefs though an angel comes to hide the sight from the world as they watch it on television. Buck dies in the next book as the cliffhanger for it was he and Rayford both injured and mortally wounded, dying in Israel. Buck in Jerusalem and Rayford in Petra. Buck's body is found by Mac in The Glorious Appearing near a bombed out wall, while Rayford is saved by Smitty, Hannah and the other nurse when they locate him. So, the words Bruce Barnes said in book one was correct, only 1 of 4 will probably survive the Tribulation. Rayford was the only one of the original four to do so.

I have been reading the books and Chloe is taken twice. The second time is what you have mentioned but the first time was right after the Wrath of the Lamb earthquake. You see I have read that when the earthquake happened she was trying to get far away from the house she was in but got injured and some men who are troopers for Carpathia take her to a hospital in another state and when Buck finds out after helping Rabbi Ben Judea find a new hiding place after pulling him out of the underground shelter where he was at it says Buck finds Ken Ritz with a bandage wrapped around his head and gets him to fly to where Chloe is at and gets her out of there finding out she is pregnant. So you see the bad guys have Chloe twice. First what I have just mentioned and the second time what you mentioned bujinbudoka.

I really didn't like that book. I mean, it was so pointless. Half of it was Chloe's PoV, and it seems pretty pointless to actually give her a PoV when you know she's just going to die. Up until then, her story was told through the other characters, and it should have stayed that way. There was really no point in making half of the book about her because it didn't add anything to the plot. A couple chapters, maybe, but half the book? Come on.

Broken Tourniquet 2010,

We can not help how Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkens wrote the books. If you realize they probably had to write it that way in order to get a publisher to approve it and print it. That is one thing i have learned about the world of writing books is they have to write things certain ways in order to get a publisher interested enough to approve the books.

reply

Their publisher clearly had no problem with the books before that one, and how many passage's in those were from Chloe's PoV?

reply

Why would the Angels want to cover up her death?

Lies, lies I tell you, and they help make more lies.....

Why couldn't her death be shown?
