What the huh? How they got from 2nd film to this one....

I couldn't sleep last night, looked for something to watch on Netflix, watched everything they had, and finally ended up watching this one :) I thought I must have missed #2, because Ray is marrying Amanda, who I didn't remember him having met in the second movie, and Buck and Chloe (who still looks like a teenager!) are marrying, so I went to see what I missed in the second film, and Ray hadn't even met Amanda. This is bugging me so much, did I miss a "2b" or something?

Not great movies. They mostly feel like Kirk Cameron making people feel all crappy about themselves, and scares them about hell. I get that the time is short here, but I would really have liked to hear more about how much God actually wants a relationship with us. I can imagine watching these movies as a person who isn't very interested in God and thinking "Wow, that's nice, scare people into asking Jesus to be with them always.

The whole Left Behind thing started as a good, I liked the books at first, but then it felt like a big money-making thing that wasn't telling anything about the loving God who desires that all should be saved. How good and kind and beyond all, how MUCH He loves.

But yeah, for the sake of not going on and on, how did we go from the bizarrely different Ben Judah televised speech (I loved him in the books, so not played right in the flick!!) to Movie 3, where stuff is blowing up, the couples marry, etc? Help?

Late to answer, but I believe this one skips a year and a half, just like the book Tribulation Force does.

WORDS MEAN THINGS! Also, before you come to bitch about a plot hole, rewatch the show/movie.

Its based on the last fifty pages. Even in the second book it doesn't really develop it before world war three happens. So we see them married and the government already taken over leaving the war at the end
