...Did the mafia guys burn in the car? How did they have the same dna? I'm confused.

I honestly forget how they got the 2nd body now(and I don't think anyone knew who Bird's partner was anyway)--but the exhumed brother of Bird would have a DNA match to him--and so everyone thought Bird was dead in the burned-out car, with the only other living brother being in prison.
