like the director's work,is this any good?

Looking at some films I like on IMDB I noticed that they shared the same director,looking at his work I find I have seen many of his work but not this one.

I wonder if it is any good? is it worth seeing at all?

Yes. It's definitely worth seeing. Especially if you are a fan of the director, Mickey rourke or diane lane
