Here is what I think, and it's rather long so I'll try to condense it.

When the credits rolled it came as no surprise that the writer, director, and producer were all female. Let's focus on the only happy character in the movie, Tasha. Her character was so artificial and was way off line with what I thought the story line was trying to accopmlish. I say thought because I never would've guessed the movie would turn into a pro-lesbian movie.

I say pro-lesbian for several reasons, but primarily because of the overall message I got from this movie:

If you have a degenerate 20 something daughter who is vulgar and lacks respect for you, your husband is a rapist, and you are totally miserable, then just explore a lesbian relationship and that should make things better.

So there again, no surprises when the credits rolled and it was female directed, female written, and female produced.

The problem with women these days is reflected in this movie, there was no fault written into the story on behalf of the mother. She didn't do anything wrong raising her daughter to be a peice of *beep* She pretended that things were fine until her husband finally rapes her. It was so unbelievable that this woman was so helpless and then the only thing she has left is to explore the relationship with Tasha.

On top of all this, the movie was just horribly directed. The story of paul was a complete waste of time, like you couldn't figure out what a big peice of garbage he was by watching the first character's part of the movie.

Let's take the same three inter-twined stories and then repeat them for each character, because there are so many blanks to fill in....

I disagree, the relationship with Tasha was not out of any kind of desperation,it was out of real love. She had spent so many yrs in a loveless marriage (and yes she should have been stronger against her husband but she didn't see that until Tasha)when Tasha came into her life and showed her what love really was,it didn't matter the it was a women just that is was real.

The movie showed each of the characters emotions in the seperate parts and while their actions were shown in all three parts, their real emotions and motivations weren't fully shown until their part of the story was explored-so I don't believe it was repetative.

It wasn't about being pro-lesbian it was about being true to yourself and being happy whether that is with a man or woman.

I'm Bi so what!
