So many subtle but memorable moments

There is not only the progression in the topics that Lawrence and Gina discuss but also in the way each interacts with the other and with every one around them.

1) Lawrence, who previously always kept his head down and his nose buried in his papers, starts to notice the women around him when he goes shopping. This happens after his meeting with Gina.

2) Gina tells Lawrence that bus use has risen by 27.8% in the last 3 years. The previous evening, Lawrence only mentions that bus use has risen. He never mentions the statistics. This means Gina went home and looked up whatever Lawrence had told her.

3) Going to Iceland, Lawrence places his hands on the armrest imitating Gina's hands. On the way back to dropping her off at the airport, they are holding hands. These 2 moments show how close both of them have gotten.

4) Lawrence speaking up about poverty issues and not backing down about them during the decision making process at the G8 Summit. This harkens back to his discussion with Gina when he asks if she dreamed about him slaying dragons. Lawrence stood up for his beliefs and by standing his ground became St. George himself.

Tremendous movie with incredible performances by both Bill Nighy and Kelly MacDonald.

It's nice to be nice to the nice.

Great moments in a great film.

Nighy has never been better.
