So the moral of this story is... (SPOILERS)

Before the girl will like you, you have to be famous and successful.

Sayonara. Not to be confused with cyanide, which is, of course, goodbye in any language.

Well, that's one of the few things I didn't like about it however, I don't think that's why she liked him. She liked him before that but was torn. Plus, she came back to him a little after he was famous and successful.

yeah hard to believe people didn't get this. maybe they tuned out before the very end, i dunno.

haven't seen too many happy endings turn so sad this way. maybe "incident at owl creek bridge" comes to mind, but beyond that...

I thought it was about obsession. His obsession with movies ended his movie obsessed job and his obsession with Niko pushed away Niko. Without balance, we will end up destroying the things we love.

Well, it's kind of true unfortunately. Many women only like men because of fame/money, and live pretty shallow existances. One of the downsides of being rich and famous is not knowing if someone truly loves you, or if they are just hanging around for the money and attention. Not all women do this (feminists, please don't rip me apart), but I am sure it does play a role in relationships.
