Given the nature of this picture, I'd chalk it up to fiction and leave it at that. Anything more would be an insult to the motion picture industry. <shrug> IMHO......

He is definitely American, used to play college football, and is an exceptional human being.

He's American, and he's a teriffic Elvis. Maybe more believable than the miniseries.

I wish that the guy from the Elvis mini series would play Elvis in all the major music films. That metro-sexual musician they hired for Walk The Line irritated me. When you get the chance to portray someone like Elvis, you think that you'd sit at home and just study Elvis.
So from now on, hire the guy from that mini-series, because he did a great job, and old Elvis should always be played by Bruce Campbell from now on... Hail To The King, Baby.
