Amira ' Binoche ' and Will ' Law ' never really loved eachother

I felt that after watching the movie, first about Amira " Binoche " , She never loved him , she felt flattered when he showed he was fond of her , and the rest was only because she wanted to protect her son , she never even liked him , and that was very obvious when she was in the bath with him , she told him her true feelings very coldly , telling him to consider what was between them as a bribe, About him , he also never LOVED her , he was a person who felt neglected from the woman he loves , and was in search for love and affection , and when he discovered that she was just pretending , he completely felt the other way , his feelings for her changed , that was very obvious in the park scene when she was begging him to help her son out , he felt no compassion or sympathy for her , throughout the movie they were both uncertain about their feelings for eachother , also this can be seen when they first went to her friend's apartement , each of them as if asking himself : what am I doing here ? .

the real love story was between Will and Liv " Penn " , they are the couple who survived this whole mess up , he forgave her neglecting him ,he choose her and helping her out with her troubled daughter , and she forgave cheating on her and letting him winning her back .

Tell me what you think about my opinion ...

I think you're absolutly right, you can feel the discomfort in her friends apartment. But i didn't expect the pictures afterwards, she goes so far and then the friend doesn't even leave. Not very considering for 'Will' which explains she has no feelings for him. He should have known by then it wasn't for real.

Doesn't sound like a situation where he was "thinking" with his brain, though...

He's an illusionist...which is just a fancy word for magician.

It is true, Will loved his wife, but he also did feel fondness toward Amira AND her son. I think he respected her for who she was, and for what she'd been through.

Clearly, at the end of the day, they were both fulfilling needs in each other that were lacking in their every day lives. They filled a "void", even for just a short time.

Riccadonna, that echoes exactly what I was thinking. There is a deep longing in each of these people for love, companionship and recognition on a very basic level. For instance, the movie starts out with Will commenting about how he and Liv have stopped looking at each other, which most anyone who's been in a long-term relationship with its attendant ups and downs can identify with.

This movie illustrates the lengths to which people will go to feel wanted and needed and loved, and how sometimes in the end the answer is right in front of us, even though we refuse (or are unable) to see it. In the end Will redeems himself (for the most part) by admitting what he's done, at the risk of losing everything, and allowing Miro the chance at a new life. Will recognizes that in order for him to be forgiven, he has to forgive, including forgiving himself.

Or sometimes to just feel.

Well, I also think she wanted to feel the closeness that he felt with her. He wnated to feel that with his girlfriend but she was distant and she hadn't felt like that with anyone since her husband died.

I think the movie would have been better had they stayed together.

Will's partner was rude, unfeeling and she shut him out....he deserved better

I thought up until the point when Amira took th photos the film had potential to be something special
