Such beautiful, beautiful score

I just saw this movie, and I must say I'm highly impressed. Great performances by the stellar cast, entertaining storyline, and a beautiful score on top of that. I'm surprised no one has devoted even one thread to it brilliance. It just striked me as dreamlike as it could and it was very, very surrealistic and moving to me.

Great movie, but an even better score which mainly made up the mood for me.

It was a great film, a very compelling (if down-tempo) slice of suburban England in the midst of urban renewal. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it much, but came away with a deeper respect for Anthony Minghella and agree that the score really set the mood. I have to admit, I only sought out the movie after hearing that Underworld was collaborating on the soundtrack with Gabriel Yared. Underworld is known more for their dance floor accomplishments, but much of their music lends itself to celluoid. I've been a big fan of theirs for many years and was very pleased with their first endeavor.

One of the best soundtracks out there. Yared and underworld should be commended for this masterpiece.

I'm not surprise...if you watch The English Patient, you'll realize that combination of Mingella and Yared just perfect and a pure MAGIC....

I usually pay little attention to a soundtrack but I haven't noticed such a beautiful score since V For Vendetta or The Last Samurai.

What song plays at the end of the credits?

It almost sounds like something by Sigur Ros.

The score is incredible mostly because of the legend Gabriel Yared. The song "Will and Amira" is one of the most melancholy, beautiful songs I have ever heard.
