I was looking through the internet to see if there was any more info on when the film is coming out etc and I came across a link to this page where it had the poster for the film. In the end I think the film looks as if it's going to be called O Jerusalem rather than Beyond Friendship. But this may well be how the poster will look in some places. Here is a link to it. It's a simple poster, but effective. http://www.vip-produktion.de/vip3_beyondfriendship.php?chid=312 - enjoy - Joe - an extra in the movie.
Hi, Dimitris! It was my first film that I had worked on as an extra and I enjoyed it very much in August 2005. I was involved in some of the New York section of the film. Obviously have to watch the film to see where that section fits into it. What parts were you in? As for more info.. It says in the releases bit that it is released in Italy I think in May, so I'm just going to look on google to see if there is a trailer out there.
Hey Joe, I live in Rhodes, Greece. The production started shooting here before moving to England. Ian Holm shot his scenes here as well. The experience was amazing. I played an Arab soldier. I have to admit that i don't recognise the couple in the poster. Who are they?? :-) Is there a possibility this is a fan made poster since the movie is called O Jerusalem and not Beyond Friendship? Dimitris
VIP Productions is one of the production companies involved, so the poster could be a temporary mock-up of what the final poster will be like. The couple could be the JJ Feild character (Bobby) and the female romantic interest, perhaps.
It could be that O Jerusalem is the US title and Beyond Friendship is for the rest of the world?
I saw a picture of David Ben-Gurion in the book of O Jerusalem! and was amazed by the striking similarity between him and Ian Holm. Good casting there!
I also worked as an extra on beyond friendship in August and am dying to see what it looks like. Did anyone find a trailer of this yet? if so could you poss post a link please.
It seems as if we are not going to find it until it comes out. I thought with it opening in Italy in May, they might have had a trailer, but it looks like we might get the film during the end of this year. This is a guess though. As for the poster, not sure who those people are.
I saw him first in Northanger Abbey and he was equally brilliant in that film. I am looking forward to watching this film as I enjoyed the book thoroughly.
