After year(s) of trying, I have obtained this DVD. Soon, I can say I have seen all of the 2005 nominees!

It took me some time but I've finally seen all the nominees for Best Foreign Picture in 2006.
That year wasn't as strong as let's say 2007 (Pan's Labyrinth, The lives of Others, After the Wedding) or 2001 (Amores Perros, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Divided We Fall). But there were some interesting pictures like Sophie Scholl or Joyeux Noël.
Anyway IMHO "Paradise Now" should have won the award for best foreign picture, but since it deals with such a polemic issue it was normal that the conservative academy decided to award the inferior "Tsotsi" instead.
However being honest I think "La bestia nel cuore" (Don't Tell) was the weakest film of them all.
