I barely got through 10 minutes of this unfunny dumb drivel, and yet this board and the 'User Comments' are full of (unbelievable???) praise about a fast-paced, funny film. The first 10 minutes are slow and dull - please tell me how I'm wrong. Also can anyone who was so head-over-heels in love with this crap tell me of one even half decent funny bit in the first 10 minutes? If I've missed the point I may try again, but please BE SPECIFIC - don't waffle on like those on the board. My guess is the fraudsters on this board are family and friends. The first clue it's a sham is there's actually a director/lead actor. HELLO!

Yeah, it started off slow but it picked up once people started getting killed. Try watching it as a horror movie instead of a comedy because if you are expecting it to be "HILARIOUS!" (as Ain't It Cool News claims on the DVD cover) you will be disappointed. There's a few weak laughs but that's it.

Thanks man, that's good advice. Sometimes you get swayed by gushing reviewers and then you react against them like I did when they're way off the mark. I still think many of them aren't koscher, but I'll try again.

Lead Actor as the Director....hmm, Orson? whatever. I beleive Beach Party requires a certasin type of taste - mainlyfor the obscure, frenetic, manic, and Gonzo. if that's not your style, then you probably won't dig it.
