Was your sound distorted?

I'm not sure what was up with the sound on this DVD, but most of the thunder strike sounded like static noise and so overbearing, I had to turn down the volume at several places. The mixing was terrible along with the rest of this piece of beep!

Seriously, this film had a lot of potential, like the girl down the hallway corridor who stood there as the main character (whatever her name was) walked down the hall with the thunder strikes (which were some of the few where the sound didn't distort). That was a nice and creepy scene, but it lead to nothing. I think you can say this about a lot of the scenes.

I thought the idea and plot were decent ideas, but were not used to their potential.

yeah i was pretty po'd because the thunder was soo much louder than anything else that i had to keep muting it so other people wouldn't wake up

...and it saddens me.

Ahahaa, I was thinking the same! Watched this at like two in the morning, and half the time I couldn't hear what anybody was saying, and so I turn the volume all the way up, and then *beep* my pants when thunder claps.

The (ADR?) dialogue was poorly synched in places, too. Guess the sound people didn't have much of a budget.
