Why did the name change???
Mercy sounds way worse than Autopsy. Change it back, please!

"Autopsy" has nothing to do with the damn movie. "Mercy" was a way better title.

exactly. I was watching the movie waiting for an autopsy to come along. Title doesn't make sense. but then again niether does Mercy. there's absolutely no mercy in this movie and absolutely no autopsys. How about.... "Severed Foot Trolly" or... "Cleaved in the Face Biatch"

In the game Left 4 Dead, there's a level called No Mercy about a voyage to Mercy hospital. That could've worked.

I have to agree that "Autopsy" doesn't fit this movie at all and it should have been named "Mercy Hospital" since it did evolve around the hospital itself 99% of the time. The deed is done though.

It still doesn't amount to much, but if you look closely, in the scene when the two orderlies butcher Claire, when the tattooed guy opens up the door, the sign on the door says "Autopsy 3"

"Mercy" is obviously the better title.

Mercy is a better title because it shows (as someone else stated) a huge amount of irony in the name since the hospital is called Mercy Hospital, where there's anything but that.
