In the short, 5 gets his hand cut off by the cat/monkey beast. But when his soul comes back at the end, he has his hand again. Why/how?

And before you say his soul reflected the "whole man", remember that his soul still had the patch in place of the lost eye...

I think the soul retains when 5 felt his happiest. He might of been so use to having one eye the soul remained that way as that was who he was use to being.
