Got bored in Series 2...should I keep going?

Well, my husband bought me the 2 Series gift set of Love Soup and I am bored at Episode 6 of Series 2. It seems like Alice is just going nowhere. She met a few great guys but yet again, is looking for perfection. There is just NO SUCH THING! The show is just not based in reality at all. It would be nice to see her settle down with a nice man whom she is compatible with and not be so fussy! I just don't know whether to continue to the end of give up...is there any hope for a good ending? David Renwick is a brilliant writer but not getting Gil back was a HUGE mistake.

Anyways, just looking for suggestions...thanks!

The first 6 episodes are the best, sorry to say but it's true. I won't spoil anything for you but my suggestion would be to just give it a break and come back to it - not brilliant TV but it's much better than a lot of what else is on at the moment.
