Played straight, waiting for the payoff...

Hello,

First up, I have been enjoying this strange, rather gentle concoction.

However, I frequently find that it's played so straight that I'm left waiting for the payoff to a fair few scenes.

Anyone else know what I mean?

Tightened up the humour a bit with the move to 30mins, however.

Don't quite understand what you mean but if you mean the big "punchline" which then gets you rolling around on the floor then there's not meant to be one.

It's more observational humour than anything else. The show doesn't run solely on the sitcom format of characters throwing gags at each other.

Yep - I think that's probably it...

God, you must check the forum all of the time. Your post was made two years ago. Didn't think i'd get a reply lol.

I get instant alerts from IMDB - perhaps it's a box you need to tick or some such?
