If it ain't broke.....

The main charm of the original movie was that at the start Helen & Frank tried to hide the fact that they had large families from each other while dating. Not only did this movie not include that wonderful part Helen only had 4 kids of her own with the other 6 being adopted for the obvious movie cliches that come with that plot device. Since "Yours,Mine & Ours was based on real people that came together and married with a combined total of 18 kids they could have let the original stand.
