Cheaper by the Dozen vs Yours, Mine, and Ours

Which family comedy did you enjoy more and why? I liked Cheaper by the Dozen because I just connected to the cast better and I enjoyed the plots more. Yours, Mine and Ours is way cheesier than Cheaper by the Dozen in my opinion and I kind of felt like they ripped it off.

more like the other way around, as yours mine and ours (this version anyway) was a remake of the original that came out in 1968... so if you wanna think someone ripped off another movie, then it was cheaper by the dozen who ripped of the original yours mine and ours

The extreme always makes an impression.

Actually, they are both based on books based on two real families so neither are a rip off of the other. Cheaper by the Dozen came out first, originally published in 1948, and it was written by two of the children when they had grown up. Yours, Mine, and Ours is based off the book Who Gets The Drumstick, originally published in1965, and was written by Helen Beardsley herself. Both are excellent reads but bear little resemblance to their film counterparts.

I still like the original Yours, Mine and Ours with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda as #1 pick. As a second choice I pick Cheaper by the Dozen.
