This movie was only 1 and a half hours? it's just as long as Dancing With the Stars! a regular movie would be at least 2 hours, not like Meet the Spartans or this!
shareThat's because it's a very shallow movie and just a bad remake of the 1968 classic. The writers couldn't even come up with some additional story lines to lengthen the movie a little bit and make it even a decent movie!

Movies don't have to be two hours or longer to be good. The 1968 version wasn't quite 2 hours long. The length wasn't really the problem. The first version was just better. I also liked Cheaper by the Dozen (2005) better.
I thought this remake was okay for a five dollar on sale movie. It certainly wouldn't be my favorite movie. They didn't develop the story line enough. Maybe length might have helped them do this, but only if they actually used extra length to do this. Length by itself is not enough to make a good movie. I also wish they hadn't changed Helen from a nurse to a fashion designer. That added nothing to the story.
