I dont get the ending scenes (spoilers)
I mean why didnt Reiko try to save Makoto after he fell off into the lake? And how did Aya's corpse suddenly get lifted out?
shareI think the ending of this movie was an homage to Hitchcock's ending of
SPOILERS
Vertigo, I think Makoto didn't just fall, but was being pulled to the bottom of the lake. Both that and Aya being raised out I think can be chalked up to her powers as a spirit.
Why I think Reiko didn't try to save him was because he was like I said being pulled down and also the scene is an homage to Vertigo.
