American Remake!

I searched for this movie and the first thing I got was a 2010 movie under The Neighbor No. 13...it's not up to read as it's only unde imdb pro, but it looks like it could happen. I hope not. I feel like in general remakes should only occue when people have forgotten about a particular movie or it's REALLY old like 50 years and they wanna reintroduce it. If people wanna see it in America they to read some damn subtitles and call it a day. Who's with me on that?

I'm with you 100%, the problem is most people are too lazy to even make the effort to read subtitles, they prefer cheap remakes to original versions.

Well said. I cringe when I hear someone say, "I ain't readin' in no movie show," or something retarded like that. As if to say they would deprive themselves of something great because it required effort, like reading.

I won't even call them remake, they are rip offs, they are usually an insult to the orignals.

Yeah i remember hearing a while ago that Steven Speilberg was suppose to do a version of Oldboy with Will Smith. GREAT!! And apparently Speilberg says its not a remake of Oldboy the movie, hes making a theatrical version of Oldboy the Manga (which Oldboy the movie is based on)

Thats like making a new Jaws and saying its based on the book. Piss off Hollywood.
