everything out of sync?

Was there something wrong with the tv transmission I saw or is the audio (both music and dancing sounds) unsynchronized throughout the film? Very annoying...

There was at least one deliberate use of unsynchronisation while a man was playing a saxophone, perhaps to point out that true sync was never a goal.
