Underappreciated

I love this film. Im surprised by the low rating and the fact it wasnt seen by many. This was one of the first modern 3d films released. The 3d was intended and not cheap conversions like 99% of the films right now. But what film inspires every other film to convert to 3d? AVATAR. A film that WAS intended for 3d but used it very sparringly.

Those who missed Beowulf 3d missed a visual treat.(best 3d film I have seen to date)

THE WAY NOT TO END A SERIES. ON A CORK AND A PRAYER.(The End of Lost)

Much better than Avatar?? I just watched " beowulf" for the first time on TV and it was very odd... something just didn't jive... guess that's why it grossed 82 mil US domestic versus the almost 800 mil Avatar raked in... oh and the grendel fly oops I mean grendel monster was very silly lookng,.

Excellent film.

Considering Avatar took a lot longer to make and had the top of the line VFX programs and artists and came out a few years earlier, Beowulf holds itself pretty well IMO.

Plus, it's blessed with not being Pocohantis with blue monkeys.
