based on actual events

since this movie is based on actual events, does anyone know what company is meant by the ICC? i was wondering. i found this movie extremely fascinating and i find it threatening that things like that can happen today.
i would love it if anyone could answer me.

I was wondering about this too and did some searching on the Internet...
"Based on actual events" is a very flexible term, and I think as far as this movie is concerned, it's nothing more than one actual event that inspired the author(s) to build this huge story on top of it.
The event I mean was the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2001, where someone managed to copy a list of all the participants - with addresses, credit card numbers, etc. - and I believe also published it.
In the movie, Fred was the one who took the list, and the two then used it to get out the message about the virus.
I don't think anything else is based on real events, and therefore I don't think ICC is based on any specific bank.
Furthermore, the director has written this in the film website's pressroom: "In spite of all the research done, no definitive evidence has been found. But eventually, truthfulness looses importance when considering that such a story is absolutely possible and that it would certainly have been hushed up."

Cheers
Dan

Edit: I'll have to change my answer to one of your questions. This is from the movie's website (rough translation by me): "In the year 2000, a journalist denounced the intrigues of Clearstream, an organization for financial compensation. Clearstream, much like ICC in the movie, serves as a floodgate for international bank transactions. This society would have contributed massively to money laundering and tax evasion during the last years."
So it seems ICC has a real counterpart after all :)
