I always pick Mattias, mainly because he's Scandinavian like me, and he's voiced by Peter Stormare, and anyone who has played in Fargo is instantly the best character. But Mattias is also the fastest ground character, and he can actually run faster than tanks. Also, the destructive and maniacal behavior of Mattias fits the explosive matter of the game. Plus, he can understand the Russians, and the Russians are easily the best faction in the game. Chris Jacobs is a good second, because he is much more bullet resistant and he has some hilarious catchphrases ("Luhk at meh, I eh te govenar!" and "Dont just do it, FEEL it!").
Mui is useless. Almost. She is slow and weak, and while she is quite stealthy, it doesnt fit the attitude of the game because I am one of those who just wants to barge in and blow *beep* up, not sneak around a base and quietly knock out each soldier one-by-one. Besides, 99% of all the missions involve barging in and blowing *beep* up, the only mission I can think of in which you need stealth is the Ace of Hearts boss mission, but even then, by the end of the mission your barging in and blowing *beep* up.
