Ok I noticed that Mythbusters said Brown noise doesn't exist but Brainiac says it does so what do you all think. And wouldn't it be great if you could get the Brown Noise on mobile phone as a ringtone just think of the fun you could have on a bus or a train as long as you have earplugs or deaf.

shareI think the brown noise segment on Brainiac was a joke. There was another segment on that same episode where it was April fools day, so I have to wonder if it was a gag.
shareI downloaded the Brown Noise thing and it kinda worked on me, and then my friend did it and he claims it worked on him very quickly. However, we were both aware of what it was supposed to do, so it could potentially be a placebo.

i dont think you quite understand how it works mate, its the vibrations and resonance in the bowles that it effects, nothing to do with hearing.
